Holiday Season

11/23/2013

Hello everyone!
Well the holidays are upon us again, It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is only a few days away!
I hope you will all get to spend it with the ones you love.
I will be with my daughter, her husband and 3 grandchildren here in South Carolina and am really looking forward to being with them all. But I will be missing my son, 2 grand kids and daughter in laws in Kentucky!
It will be 4 Thanksgiving Days without Mommy and Daddy, I miss them terribly ( you never get to old to want you Mom and Dad). But I am so thankful that they are no longer in pain or suffering.  I wouldn't bring them back if I could. I miss the big gatherings at my folks home with all my brothers, sisters, grands and great grands  there together and probably driving the folks crazy! They loved the holidays so much.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and you get to spend the day with everyone you love.
If you still have your parents with you give them a great big hug and let them know you love know they are loved. I hope you will make some wonderful memories you can keep with you forever!
Here's to you and your families! Hope you have a Blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Where is the forum?

4/3/2013

Recently I had to remove the forum section of my website due to individuals using it to promote and sell medications and things for personal or business gain.
I apologize if this offended anyone but this site was and still is intended to help people while going thru a horrific time in the life not take advantage of someone to make a personal gain from someone elses time of distress and great need of help. For the life of me I cannot see how viagra can help anyone at this time in their life... Thats the kind of thing that my site was being used for!
I hope you all understand. Please leave me feed back on here or email me with your thoughts.
I would love to hear from you!
And as always thank you for visiting my site.

Help this mom have more time with her children!

This post has nothing to do with Alzheimers but it does have a lot to with helping families spend more time together. This mom is dying from cancer. She needs medicine that can prolong her life. It is a very important part of her fight against cancer. Her insurance has finally agreed to pay for most of her medicine but not the main one. You can help by reading and signing this petition to help make the insurance company back down and agree to give her the medicine that will help keep her alive! Please take a minute to look at this.
Remember, tomorrow it could be us needing help!
Thank you all very much and thank you for visiting my site!

Mothers Day

Tomorrow is Mothers Day. Let me be the first to wish every Mom out there A very blessed day! I hope you have the greatest day ever! And to all who have lost their Mom already as I have. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you on this most wonderful and most difficult day. We may not have our Mom here with us to shower with appreciation but we have them our hearts to love and hold forever.
we can however honor our Moms by doing something special for someone who was special to them- sort of a stand in for your mom.
Maybe you know a Mom who has lost their children or who's kids live out of town or she will be alone for whatever reason. Honor them on this special day! Give them a great day! After all It's Mothers Day not MY Mothers Day!
Honor your Mom by honoring another!  I know she would be proud!
And Mom when your looking down on me on Mothers Day... I love you and miss you so, so much! HAPPY MOTHERS D

While outside soaking up some vitamin D today I can't help but think of my Mom. She would be loving this day and the sunshine SO much!
She loved being in her yard and working with her flowers so much. She would spend every second she could out there. She had so many beautiful flowers. She had such a green thumb! I actually think she had 10 green fingers!
I can"t help thinking of her and Dad on days like this. I miss them so much!

Please remember to include the victims of the recent tornado strikes that hit here in Kentucky as well as Indiana, Tennessee and all others. If  there is anything we can do to help with the loss they suffered I hope we all will do so! The following is a # you can dial if you would like to donate and if you can't  donate money, that's okay, we also need prayers for these families- which we know helps more than money ever could!
Thank you for your prayers! and thank you for viewing!
